  • North America National Irish Dance Logo Competition - One of the Top 10 Pick North America National Irish Dance Logo Competition - One of the Top 10 Pick Client: Irish Dancing Magazine (irishdancing.com) Brief: A full colour 2011 North American Nationals Logo to be suitable for letterhead, Internet, T-Shirts, Banners and other creative uses. The logo should be readily identifiable with Irish dancing and Nashville. Concept: Through the inspiration of Irish dancing, I have incorporated the Irish dancing shoes and the love of music by the Nashville population into this intriguing logo for the 2011 National Championships. The significance of the Irish dancing shoes shows the importance of the Irish culture, while the guitar symbolizes Nashville’s musical enjoyment. These two symbolic images are then arranged perfectly with the colours of the flag of Ireland to represent this Irish Dancing Championships Competition. The graphics are then balanced with a strong typeface. Whether the logo is reduced to an inch-and-a-half for letterhead purposes, or enlarged for a T-shirt, or even a banner, it is legible, clear and clean.
